Ministry Operations Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities (Admin)

  1. Supporting Pastors and Ministers in their respective roles that align with the mission, values, and culture of FBCVA.

  2. Author and deliver churchwide communication to support all ministries.

  3. Meet regularly with church staff to integrate effective communication and coordination for each specific ministry.

  4. Supporting ministry teams in assimilating guests and moving them toward covenant membership.

  5. Attendance tracking for weekly ministry events.

  6. Work with facility admin for facility supply upkeep and space usage.

  7. Manage, update, and publish the churchwide calendar on appropriate platforms.

  8. Manage and update our church Database. (registrations, people management, check-ins, etc.)

  9. Supply room coordination for weekly ministries and/or events.

  10. Prepare financial reports for committees, staff members, and business meetings.

  11. Enter invoices, pay bills, and distribute payments due on behalf of the church.

  12. Front-Desk Responsibilities to be determined

  13. Perform other related duties as assigned by Pastoral Staff.

  5. Works well with a team.

  6. Ministry and/or Church Administrative experience

Your Team

This position reports directly to the Associate Pastor.

You will work closely with all ministry leaders to help with all administrative needs.
