I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being
rooted and established in love,

Sunday Mornings at FBCVA

Nursery (Birth – age 2)

  • Nursery is in Basement Room 3.
  • Cherrie Hunter and Reagan Tanner provide excellent loving care for our littlest ones.
  • Paging System is available.
  • Nursery care is available at the 8:30 service, 9:45 Sunday School hour, and 11:00 service.
  • Note: Preschool childcare is also available in the nursery during the 8:30 service.
 
Preschool (ages 2-5)

  • Preschool childcare provided in the nursery Basement Room 3.
 
 9:45  Sunday School Class
  • Preschoolers meet in Basement Room 2.
  • Teachers are Emily Martin and Gloria Sewell.
  • Sunday School includes music, Bible story, art, and play centers.

 11:00 Wee Worship

  • Preschoolers meet in Basement Room 5.
  • We have a rotation of wonderful, caring volunteers that lead Wee Worship.
  • Wee Worship includes snacks, music, Bible lesson, memory verse, art, and play centers.
 
Elementary  (K-5th)
 
 9:45  Sunday School Classes 
  • Classes include activities, crafts, music, Bible lesson, memory verse, and games.
  • Kindergarten and 1st Grade meet in Basement Room 6. Teachers are Val Lauerhahs and Jan Shaw.
  • 2nd & 3rd Grade meet in Basement Room 4. Teachers are Troy & Stephanie Wilson.
  • 4th & 5th Grade meet in Basement Room 7. Teachers are Casey & Tina Stewart.

11:00 Kids Church (K – 3rd Grade)

  • Kids Church meets in Basement Room 7. It is led by Emily Martin and a rotation of amazing parent volunteers.
  • Kids Church includes snacks, activities, art, worship, Bible lesson, games, and memory verses.
  • 4th and 5th graders join their families in the worship service upstairs.

Children are always welcome in the worship service with their families!

There are activity pages and sermon notes on clipboards available in the foyers.

RA’s (1st-5th Grade Boys)

Royal Ambassadors (RA’s) seek to share the truth that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. RA’s is designed to help boys come to faith in Christ as Savior, while making missions an important part of their daily lives. They learn what it means to live a missional lifestyle while they participate in Bible study, missions projects and engaging activities. They also have a lot of fun and build a faith-based brotherhood as they “travel” to various places around the world when they learn about the work of missionaries. Their experiences lead to a lifelong commitment to Christ, His mission and His church. RA’s is led by Kelly Crowell and a committed group of dads. Follow them on Facebook

GA’s (1st-5th Grade Girls)

Girls in Action (GA’s) is designed to help girls come to faith in Christ as Savior, while making missions an important part of their daily lives. They learn what it means to live a missional lifestyle while they participate in Bible study, missions projects and engaging activities. They also have a lot of fun and build lasting memories as they “travel” to various places around the world when they learn about the work of missionaries. The Girls in Action motto is “Go Forward!” and GAs do just that — they grow closer to God as they discover their part in His plan and they practice what they’re learning through hands-on missions opportunities. Their experiences lead to a lifelong commitment to Christ, His mission and His church. GA’s is led by Kristie Lovely and a committed group of moms.  Follow them on Facebook
